No, really, quick post this time :) Family was visiting this weekend which was great. However, it meant I didn't have too much time to work on the game. I was able to make a more cohesive version of the logo (sorry I can't share yet!), I also picked out a few songs for a really rough cut trailer I would like to make and post. It will be a learning experience for me since I will mostly be using open source software and it will be my first try. Oh well, have to start somewhere! No promise on the ETA on that. Soonish.
Also, finally was able to get my hands on one of these
The NEWS Mini, not the baby! :) While most kids now a days are building things in Minecraft, playing Call of Duty, and exploring the wastelands of Fallout, when the time comes, my little guy will be jumping on goombas and shooting arrows at moblins!
I still want to write up some Zelda thoughts. I've seen some of the early footage that is popping up, but not enough to offer any real insight. Knowing some of the dedicated people out there, by now someone has probably beat it! If I write up the Zelda thoughts I wont include spoilers, I will include my thoughts though and then based on what I heard give you my general mood about its release. Also, thanks Amazon/Nintendo for throwing my reservation into doubt for like 5 days (along with a bunch of other gamers I heard) I just heard it is supposed to arrive on release day again though.
